It was wonderful to read in the Jersey Evening Post that Deputy Montfort Tadier, who chairs the Jersey Economic and International Affairs Scrutiny Panel, is interested in pursuing a referendum on Jersey to let the public decide if Jersey businesses should be legally obliged to accept the publics cash.
