Cash MUST Be Accepted To Help EVERYONE!

£1 Billion from the Keir Starmer Government to fund cash payments to those in urgent need of financial support.
Research around the planet has demonstrated that cash payments are the best way of providing help to those enduring a financial crisis.
It’s easy to see why Emma Revie at The Trussell Trust Food Bank and Lynn Perry at Barnardo's are giving this important measure their full support.
However, what Minister for Employment Dame Diana Johnson - who is leading this initiative for the Government - needs to appreciate is that cash only provides genuine support to those most in need if it is ACCEPTED.
That’s why we need legislation guaranteeing that EVERYONE in the UK - including those most in need - can spend their cash, when and where they choose to do so.
