Digital Inclusion For All? THE BIG LIE!

Now the Irish Government is joining so many others around Europe in urging citizens to keep cash at home to deal with inevitable - and frequent - “Digital Downtime”.

Meantime, all we hear about in the UK ( usually sponsored by Mastercard ) is how “EVERYONE ” is going to be “Digitally Included”, whether they WANT to be or NOT.

Let’s just call it for what it is - THE BIG LIE - which will be totally and utterly exposed in 2026.

Cash is NOT a problem in need of a digital solution.

Cash IS, at a minimum, the solution that helps the public survive the inevitable problems with digital payments.

AND more than that, using cash is the legitimate choice that EVERYONE should be legally entitled to make when they are deciding how to live their lives each day.

As the public can in just about all of the UKs European neighbours.

If HM Treasury, Bank of England and the Financial Conduct Authority do NOT reflect the reality of cash in the “National Payments Vision, that “Vision” will be permanently DELETED in 2026!
