Carry Cash - And Spend It Frequently!

The usual nonsense from so-called “experts”, advising against carrying much cash and urging people to use cards.

Extensive travellers and cash users know better. Payment preferences need never be inhibited by any rules about how much cash can legally be carried.

The danger is that the public pay heed to such “advice” and are swayed against carrying or using cash.

Another example can be found in fast food outlets such as McDonald's and Burger King. You might think that their touch screen ordering systems make it difficult/impossible to use cash.

They don’t.

Just walk passed the machines, go directly to the counter and tell the staff you want to order verbally and pay by cash.

You will never have the slightest problem paying- it is easier and faster!

And the more customers that do so the better, because it underlines the importance to businesses of continuing to accept cash.

Equally, “experts” sometimes claim that cash acceptance laws are pointless because businesses will ignore them.

Complete and utter nonsense.

Those in the UK who use cash extensively - more than half the adult population - will sink any non compliant businesses in an ocean of complaints!
