Only 4.8% of businesses in the Netherlands refuse to accept cash - a much lower figure than in the UK - yet the Netherlands Government have passed legislation guaranteeing that the publics cash will be accepted.
Why have the British Government, led by Keir Starmer, not given the British public a similar right?
THEY NEED TO LEGISLATE NOW TO ADDRESS THIS OBVIOUS FAILURE.
Also, isn’t it wonderful that the De Nederlandsche Bank - the Netherlands Central Bank- carry out research to establish the % of businesses NOT accepting cash.
Bank of England please (bank)note!
