Cashless Businesses Dangerous For Abuse Victims

Posted on: 02/09/2024

Thanks to Callum Mason at iNews for highlighting this very important issue. Domestic abuse is a huge and growing problem.

There is absolutely no doubt that cash can provide an escape route for victims of abuse, including by not allowing abusers to track their victims.

Charities such as Refuge are doing wonderful work, supporting victims of domestic violence, as are Relationship Coaches like Marilyn Devonish, who is heavily quoted in the article.

The Payment Choice Alliance is determined that ALL of the merits of cash are properly understood.

Part of that process of improving understanding is writing to all 411 Labour MPs prior to The Labour Party Conference - and then following up when those MPs visit the PCA Stand at the event.

The future of cash acceptance and cash access is in their hands.

The Payment Choice Alliance is helping to ensure those hands are safe.
