Great to see prominent public-spirited politicians in Los Angeles speaking out against the scourge of “cashless”.
California is the home of Visa - but local politicians aren’t buying into the giant Card Schemes lala-land vision of a “cashless” future.
Meantime, Visa is trying to export the vision it increasingly can’t sell at home.
Cash continues to be used on Los Angeles buses, whereas in London, where the wishes of the public are blatantly ignored, Mayor Boris Johnson allowed Transport for London to ban cash a decade ago.
Enough is enough.
Hard luck, Visa . You must have felt you were SO close to winning.
But now the game is up and you have LOST.
The British public are NOT going to have “cashless” imposed on THEIR country.
