Excellent news here, in a quote here from South Holland District Council regarding new car parking payment machines which have been installed
“The 14 new machines, which cost a total of £88,500 including installation and ongoing maintenance, are designed to accept contactless and chip-and-pin card payment, as well as CASH and via the APCOA connect online app.”
Well done to South Holland District Council - and shame on those councils, such as Oxford City Council, that have ignored the wishes and needs of their residents - and voters - by imposing “cashless”.
Of course, those voters will have a chance to impose something on their existing councillors at the upcoming local elections.
DEFEAT.
