'Disgraceful' closure of south Clwyd's last bank

Barclays closes the last branch in town - community left with 22 mile round trip.

The town of Llangollen has been left without a bank branch, giving the local community a 22 mile round trip if they want to visit one.

Is that “reasonable”, to use the current fad word of the the UK “Authorities” - AKA Government, Treasury, Bank of England, Payment Systems Regulator and Financial Conduct Authority?

Are the residents of Llangollen meant to think leaving their lovely town a Financial Services Desert is “reasonable”?

It is doubtful that the “Authorities” will be brave enough to ask them…
