71% Of Public Want A UK Cash Acceptance Law!

Big “thank you” to Jessica Sharkey for organising it - and finding someone brave/foolish enough to argue that shops should NOT have to accept cash!
Anyway, cash - and the public - WON!
71% of those Times readers responding had by last Friday voted “YES”, which is exactly the same percentage that responded “Yes” to the same question posed by YouGov last year. It is lovely to get such positive confirmation of the continuing popularity of cash!
