Thousands of British Communities Lose Convenient Cash Access

What the graph show is that there are less than 35,000 Free-to-Use ATMs in the UK today.

This means that 20,000 Free-to-Use ATMs have been lost since January 2018. A 36% fall, in addition to the 2 Bank Branches lost EVERY DAY in the same period.

One impact of this massive reduction in ATM numbers is that around 4 million British adults face AT LEAST a two mile round trip to find free cash access.

One word to describe the reduction in UK cash access?

DISASTROUS.
