Norway already had laws in place covering the rights of the Norwegian public to use cash.
However, they were considered inadequate.
So last week the Norwegian Parliament strengthened the Norwegian publics rights. From now on, basically cash MUST be accepted, along with other payment methods. Similar legal measures are already in place in other European markets, with Ireland being the closest country to the UK grant to cash use rights to their citizens.
Why are the British public not entitled to the same rights as citizens of other countries? Because Rishi Sunak and his government refuse to listen to what the British public clearly wants.
4 July may be their last chance to prove that their hearing is no longer defective!
