The idea that the The Payments Association and Mastercard have the faintest clue about “Delivering the UK’s Financial Inclusion Strategy” is quite simply risible.
Even though they are prepared to devote one whole hour of a pre-Christmas webinar to the subject.![]()
Mastercard, who announced their “war on cash” in 2010, have done a great job for their shareholders - but ZERO for “Financial Inclusion”.
What they would love to “deliver” to those they deem excluded is a Pre Paid card, funded by A.N.Other.
The “turning point in financial inclusion” in the UK will be when the current Labour Government turns its back on the self-serving “solutions” of Mastercard and their collaborators, to deliver to the British public what they actually WANT. WHICH IS GENUINELY CONVENIENT CASH - AND GUARANTEED PAYMENT CHOICE.
