LINK Ask The Right Questions About Cash Acceptance

Excellent survey carried out by YouGov for LINK Scheme Ltd.

Congratulations to LINK for asking the right questions, ones the UK’s Regulators have NEVER asked.

How about this for a verdict of the British public:

“71% see cash as vital for personal freedom.”

Or this

“67% feel cash gives them the reassurance to fully understand the cost of what they are paying for.”

Unsurprisingly, these results are in line with the survey carried out by YouGov for the Payment Choice Alliance, where 71% of British adults confirmed that they want a law passed guaranteeing they can use their cash, when and where they choose.

Over to you HM Treasury, Financial Conduct Authority and Bank of England - give the British public what they want, starting immediately by including the British £ at front and centre of the National Payments Vision.
