This time it’s a former Conservative Peer Lord Kulveer Ranger trying to convince us that cash is only of marginal interest and that we are all on a journey towards an inevitable “cashless” UK.
This is, of course, utter tosh.
The British public have made absolutely clear that they don’t want and will not accept “cashless”.
40 MILLION British adults want a UK Payment Choice Act passed, giving them the right to spend their cash, when and where they choose.
“Former” may be a tag that applies to Lord Ranger - BUT it will NEVER be used in relation to cash…
