Express - POLL: Are you worried about the UK becoming a cashless society?

The Daily Express poll shows that over 90% of the British public are worried that the UK is heading in the direction of “cashless”.

It is easy to understand why.

The recent YouGov/Payment Choice Alliance survey in early June 2023 revealed that only 3% of the British public NEVER use cash.

So the vast majority of UK adults continue to use cash - and of course they are concerned that they might be robbed of the right to do so by the anti/cash brigade.

That’s also why over 70% of the public told YouGov that they want a UK Payment Choice law passed, to give them a legal right to use their cash, when and where they choose.
