PR Hype Cannot Conceal How Few Banking Hubs Are Open.

In the same period, the UK has lost around 4000 bank branches.
In the five years BEFORE that first ever Banking Hub opened in 2021, another 4000 bank branches had been permanently closed.
How can 200 Banking Hubs replace around 8000 bank branches?
Easy answer.
THEY CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO DO SO.
The Payment Choice Alliance has made clear a minimum of 1200 Banking Hubs are required , ALL with 24/7 ATMs- and it may be more, depending on how many bank branches are still open when the banks permanently end their closure programmes.
SO LESS HYPE AND MORE HUBS SHOULD BE CASH ACCESS UK’S NEW YEARS RESOLUTION FOR 2026 …and 2027….and 2028…FOREVER.
