J D Wetherspoon are certainly talk of the “Cash Town”- they are committed to accepting cash at ALL their 800 plus pubs!

Samuel Smiths are another pub group - and brewery - which has shown huge support for cash payments.

ALL pubs should be socially AND financially inclusive - and inclusivity requires the acceptance of cash! Payment Choice Alliance has written to the remaining eight of the “Top Ten” UK pub operators asking that they confirm that they accept cash at all their venues.

Those pub groups that confirm they accept cash will become Payment Choice Heroes.

Those that don’t will NOT be Heroes because they will be letting down their customers....Which is never a recipe for success.
