Being Able To Choose Cash Is Vital For The Public AND Businesses!

A quote:
“The findings indicate that from the consumer perspective in Germany, the costs of cash and that of the most cost-effective cashless alternative are similar. This means people in Germany can choose between paying in cash or by card depending on their preferences.”
Sadly, the final sentence is NOT correct, UNLESS the publics right to pay using cash is guaranteed by law.

When will we ever see the Bank of England commissioning such a study?
Or, for that matter, sponsoring research similar to that carried out by YouGov on behalf of the Payment Choice Alliance, which revealed that 71% of the British public want legislation, guaranteeing their right to spend their cash, when and where they choose.
The time for trying to dodge the will of the British public is OVER.
Payment Choice legislation is REQUIRED in 2025.
