The British Public Deserve Less Than The French?

Posted on: 22/04/2025

Interesting report from the Banque de France.

A quote:

“The vast majority of French people continue to value cash and recognise its many advantages. Lastly, they also consider cash accessibility and acceptance to be very satisfactory.”

If the Bank of England ever did a similar survey of the British public the results would be very similar - EXCEPT it is highly unlikely UK residents would consider either cash access or accessibility to be “very satisfactory”.

Because they definitely are NOT.

Which probably explains which the Bank of England has never carried out such a survey Of course, in France businesses are compelled by law to accept cash - as they are in Belgium, Denmark, Norway, Spain and, by June this year, the Netherlands.

Keir Starmer knows all of this - as does every MP in the Westminster Parliament -yet seems to believe that the British public do not deserve the same legal right to use their cash as the residents in all their nearest European neighbours.

Not acceptable, Prime Minister.

Time to change your stance.

NOW.

IN 2025.
