Pennies are being phased out in the United States - BUT this change is NOT being used by McDonald's as an excuse for imposing “cashless”.

Meantime, British companies such as Warner Hotels have the cheek to impose “cashless”, pretending it is something customers WANT!
88% of British adults responded to a recent survey that they WANT to retain the option to use cash and 71% said they WANT a legal right to spend their cash, when and where they choose.
Businesses MUST stop being economically with the truth when imposing “cashless”. Just announce “ we don’t give a damn what our customers WANT!”
That might be the last announcement they ever need to make….
