Absolutely correct.
And that no doubt is one reason why 71% of British adults - the electorate - told YouGov they want such a law passed.
In a UK election year, do those 40 million potential voters matter?
Put another way, is there any other measure the British government could take that would satisfy so many voters and at NO cost to the government?
