The Irish government stepped in when a big Irish High Street bank tried to make branches “cashless”.

Just a simple “NO” from the government was enough to stop the bank in its tracks.

When contractors running services on behalf of the Irish government announced they were going “cashless, what happened?

Just a simple “NO” from the government was enough to stop the contractors in their tracks.

Meantime in the UK, the British government allows anti-cash collaborators to reduce both cash access and acceptance.

Time the British government learnt one word so appropriately used by the Irish government to safeguard the Public Interest.
