The Payment Choice Alliance has been telling the Prime Minister since early this year that the “cashless” future being dreamed-up by Chief Economic Secretary to The Treasury Andrew Griffith is NOT the future the British public want OR will vote for.
As this latest poll shows, the Treasury stance on cash could well lead to a rebuilding of the Red Wall.
Rishi Sunak needs to listen to this consistent message from the British public:
“ We want the legal right to spend our cash, when and where we choose. We want a UK Payment Choice Act”.
You can avoid this becoming a General Election issue, Prime Minister, ONLY by ensuring a Payment Choice Act becomes law before you ask the public to vote for you.
