They consulted the public, listened - and changed their plans.
All York car parks will NOT go “cashless”!
Just as well - when the UK Payment Choice Act becomes law, ALL car parks will be legally obliged to accept cash payments.
So City of York Council have saved themselves the cost of switching back to cash acceptance!
